When I think of CYC, I think most of all about FUN! CYC is the best camp EVER! Love helps the CYC community tie together as a family. I love all the activities and games and my friends.

We dropped off a kid who needed three reminders to put her phone down. A week later we picked up a sunburned, mosquito-bitten, grinning kid who led grace at dinner and asked if she could stay two weeks next summer. I don’t know what’s in Big Sandy Lake, but I’d bottle it if I could.

To me Catholic Youth Camp is a place I can be myself and know others will not judge me. Plus it is a place where I can learn more about my religion and proclaim it to the world freely.

I love how every night we do devotions. And Sunset beach is the best place to hang out, and our cabins are very awesome too!!! Sweeney is very fun. We always have the dance party there, which is my favorite thing. They always have fun activities and we always like doing them.

CYC to me is a fun, uplifting, and spiritual camp for kids of all ages. Every morning there I wake up with a smile on my face, and I am like “YESSSSS I’m still here!!!” I never want to leave. CYC has outrageous counselors there that give courage to be yourself and to love and adore God!

Not once did I EVER hear put downs. And CYC is the best camp to be at!!! And I bet this year will be even better.
