Wednesday of Ninja Week!

What a great day at camp! We started the day with polar bear plunge- a great way to wake up!

Breakfast was delicious – muffins, hard boiled eggs, sausage, cereal and fruit! We started our day with chapel and then headed out and about. It was a hot, sunny and fabulous all day!

Cabins were busy with activities- swimming, sports, archery, and arts and crafts. And then we came together for a prayer service. We’re not just a community that plays together, we’re a community that PRAYS together too! We struggle to find priests (they are the busiest people around), so we do our best to come together in celebration of our faith. We watched a video on the meaning of Catholic Mass, sang some praise and worship songs and ended with prayer. Afterwards, we headed down to the mud pit for some tug-o-war, followed by jumping in the mud, and then running down to the beach to wash off.

Lunch was sloppy joes, jojo potatoes, fruit, and salad bar. And then it was time for some rest time and afternoon activities. The weather was hot and sunny and a perfect summer day! All of the activities were busy- drama was practicing for the talent show, sports was playing basketball, there was archery, arts and crafts (working on bead necklaces), swimming and more!

Dinner was chicken, rice veggies and lemon bars for dessert.

Now we have Prime Time (the camp store is open, gaga ball, carpet ball, games, and relaxing), then it’s the night everyone is always waiting for- the dance party! The disco ball is shining, the music will be blasting and the campers and staff will be dancing their hearts out! We still have plenty of energy to burn, so this dance party is needed!

We will end the day with praise and worship in the chapel. High energy songs to celebrate our faith and close out the day!
