Wednesday of Double Dare

What a gorgeous, hot, sunny perfect day at camp! We started the day with polar bear plunge- not nearly as chilly as the last few days, but still a great way to wake up!

Breakfast was delicious – egg bake and hash browns! We started our day with chapel and then headed out and about. It was a hot, sunny and fabulous all day!

Cabins were busy with activities- swimming, sports, archery, and arts and crafts. After that, we headed to the field for a carnival. Kids could do a variety of activities like dunk tank, face painting, the warped wall, obstacle course, parachute, and many more fun things.

Lunch was sloppy joes, jojo potatoes, fruit, and salad bar. And then it was time for some rest time and afternoon activities. The weather was hot and sunny and a perfect summer day! All of the activities were busy- drama was practicing for the talent show, sports was playing basketball, there was archery, arts and crafts (working on bead necklaces), swimming and more!

Dinner was chicken, rice, veggies and carrot cake for dessert.

Now we have Prime Time (the camp store is open, gaga ball, carpet ball, games, and relaxing), then it’s the night everyone is always waiting for- the dance party! The disco ball is shining, the music will be blasting and the campers and staff will be dancing their hearts out! We still have plenty of energy to burn, so this dance party is needed!

We will end the day with praise and worship in the chapel. High energy songs to celebrate our faith and close out the day!
