Wednesday Morning

 A birthday surprise!

This morning while we all waited for breakfast to be served something magical happened! The doors to Sweeney opened up and in walked the birthday crew. There was singing and dancing and marching and before we knew it they were standing around one of the trailblazers girls’ tables.

"We have a very special announcement" one of the birthday crew said. "Angelina is turning eleven today!"

Amidst cheering and singing Angelina was awarded her "Birthday Privileges" (first in line for meals first in line for camp store and one free ice cream during breaktime) and applauded by the entire camp.

A game of quidditch

What would Harry Potter week be without quidditch? We didn’t even want to find out so two cabins are currently competing on the field for top prize in the game. Using field hockey sticks for brooms campers are flying about in their various roles of bludgers seekers and keepers trying to gain points for their team.

"What camp means to me is learning about God, making friends and having fun. But the most important thing is being yourself. We have lots of fun at camp. The counselors are great, the friends are nice, the themes are awesome, and the games rule! When I grow too old to come to camp I want to be a camp counselor, but for now, I will enjoy the fun at camp. See you this year!" - Josh
