Thursday- CYC’s Got Talent

It was our last full day of camp this week and so we crammed as much goodness as we could possibly cram into a day!

Our morning theme activity had our campers rotating between talent training stations. At one station they had to stike their best pose. At another station they had to put on costumes and run through an obstacle course. One station was fitness focused and another station had them working together to complete a challenge. Many talents were required!

After lunch (hot dogs and mac and cheese!) it was a great day to have an archery/throwing tomahawk/slingshot competition canoe around the lake play sports go fishing and go swimming. The drama group and dance groups were busy with last minute rehearsal for the talent show and the campfire cooking group made ice cream cone s’mores!

After dinner cabins headed to the friendship circle to watch the FANTASTIC talent show! There were skits dances singing groups jokes and it was amazing to see how much talent our campers and staff have!

Tonight cabins are enjoying one more night together. As this is being typed cabins are busy packing sharing memories of the week and having fun before falling asleep. It’s been a great week and we don’t want to see our campers go!

"CYC is a great place to have fun, make friends, and share your faith. At camp, you can make a new friend almost anywhere like during activities, around the campfire, or in your cabin. If you get homesick, you’ll have nice friends and understanding counselors to help you out. You won’t need to worry about it too much because you’ll be having fun all day. No matter where you are, fishing, swimming, or playing soccer, you’ll be having a great time. CYC rocks!" - Joe
