Superhero- Thursday!

Another day of total AWESOMENESS!!!!!!!!

We decided to test out our campers’ SUPER POWER STRENGTH by having a tug-o-war contest. As expected it was a fierce battle with muscles bulging! This year we added a brand new mud pit and earlier this summer we tested it out and realized it was the coolest thing to hit camp since sliced bread! We were eager to get campers back in it and today was a great day for falling in the mud. After the tug-o-war campers jumped into the pit and got COVERED head to toe. In order to avoid giving our wonderful cleaning staff a heart attack we all headed down to the beach jumped in fully clothed and washed off! What a way to start the day!

After activities lunch and rest time we came together with Fr. Mike Schmitz and celebrated mass. Not only are we a community that knows how to PLAY together we also know how to PRAY together. It is a wonderful combination that makes CYC special.

More activities followed mass then it was a delicious dinner (pizza!!!) and an awesome superhero scavenger hunt across camp and then it was time for the FANTASTIC talent show! CYC campers are well known for being the most talented kids around and tonight was a wonderful display of just that! There was singing dancing comedy improv acting and more! It was a night of entertainment and fabulousness!
