Sunday– Messy/Dirty/Messy!

It is our first day of Messy/Dirty/Messy and we are already having fun!!

We’re off to a strong start with cabins playing get to know ya games moving into their cabins touring around camp (and playing lots of fun games as they move from location to location) and getting excited about the week ahead.

During the tour campers will learn about the different activities at camp and everyone will sign up for 3 activities they will do all week. Cabins will also sign up for cabin activities as well.

This week is Messy/Dirty/Messy week so we will bedoing as many messy sticky gooey slimy activities that we can!

Dinner tonight was pizza popcorn chicken salad bar and fruit.

After dinner the tour/games will continue and at 8pm we will enjoy our opening campfire and first night of praise and worship.

During praise and worship campers will learn about the 5 Cs which are CYC’s set of values. The 5 Cs are how we live our life at camp. Tonight’s ‘C’ is courange. Throughout the week we will also learn about charity cooperation community and Christ.

It is going to be a full week of fun!! Say a prayer for us that we will have nice weather and will enjoy every minute of our time together!

"What camp means to me is learning about God, making friends and having fun. But the most important thing is being yourself. We have lots of fun at camp. The counselors are great, the friends are nice, the themes are awesome, and the games rule! When I grow too old to come to camp I want to be a camp counselor, but for now, I will enjoy the fun at camp. See you this year!" - Josh
