Secret Agent- Thursday

It was our last full day of camp this week and so we crammed as much goodness as we could possibly cram into a day!

Our morning theme activity had campers playing team pictionary! The first camper of each group got a word and had to draw it. Once the cabin guessed the word the next camper would get the next word and so on and so on until the whole list was complete. Whichever team completed the challenge first would win!

After lunch (ravoli!) it was a great day to have an archery/throwing tomahawk/slingshot competition canoe around the lake play sports go fishing and go swimming. The drama group and dance groups were busy with last minute rehearsal for the talent show and the campfire cooking group made ice cream cone s’mores!

Yesterday the B3 girls cracked the code! Assistant Director Abby wore a Hat to dinner with the second symbol in the code and the girls realized that the code spelled out ‘The Five Cs’. For cracking the code they earned a special prize which happened at dinner today. At breakfast the girls found out they needed to wear their best outfits to dinner (you should see the fancy dresses that we have in the drama building!). The girls and their counselors came dressed in their finest outfits and were escorted into dinner while beautiful classical musical played. Their table was decorated and they enjoyed their meal in style.

Everyone at camp enjoyed the classical music that played during dinner but at the end the B3 girls requested Gangnum Style so we all ended dinner with a quick dance party!

After some free time cabins headed to the friendship circle to watch the FANTASTIC talent show! There were skits dances singing groups jokes and it was amazing to see how much talent our campers and staff have!

Tonight cabins are enjoying one more night together. As this is being typed cabins are busy packing sharing memories of the week and having fun before falling asleep. It’s been a great week and we don’t want to see our campers go!

"CYC is a great place to have fun, make friends, and share your faith. At camp, you can make a new friend almost anywhere like during activities, around the campfire, or in your cabin. If you get homesick, you’ll have nice friends and understanding counselors to help you out. You won’t need to worry about it too much because you’ll be having fun all day. No matter where you are, fishing, swimming, or playing soccer, you’ll be having a great time. CYC rocks!" - Joe
