Olympics Tuesday

Today has been fantastic at Catholic Youth Camp! We began our day with polar bear plunge, had breakfast, and headed to the chapel to start our morning of activities. We discussed our second C of the week, cooperation, during Holy Ground.

Our cabins headed off to their cabin activities after Holy Ground. Later in the morning, our Olympians put their athleticism and skills to the test in a series of Olympic events. They competed in Olympic archery, soccer, basketball, jumping, and bean bag tossing! Each cabin totaled its points together towards earning the Olympic champion title at the end of the week.

This afternoon, we had a beach party at the swim beach! The campers played games, danced to music, and swam. It was a beautiful day here at Catholic Youth Camp, and our campers loved cooling off in the lake.

Beach Party

This afternoon, we went to our individual activities. Our Olympians have become so skilled in archery, boating, paddling, drama, arts and crafts, fishing, and so many other fun activities! Our talent show is sure to be amazing tomorrow!

This evening, the entire camp gathered for a dance party. We sang, danced, and laughed along to the music! Our ninjas also hung out on the deck of Sweeney in between their favorite songs! After a night of fun, we headed to the chapel to end our day in the best way, with Praise and Worship. Today was another great one here at Catholic Youth Camp, and we can’t wait to do it again tomorrow!
