Morning of Teen Take Over Wednesday

The chapel was filled with song and prayer this morning as some of our campers woke up bright and early to pray the rosary and sing praise and worship before the tabernacle. We are so blessed here at CYC to have the Host in the tabernacle, so that we are accompanied by Christ when we start each day.

As we prayed the rosary, tears came to our eyes and we poured out our hearts to Mother Mary. Meditating on each Glorious Mystery, we listened as strums from a guitar and beautiful voices filled the room. Those who were singing in praise in worship had their hands out and their eyes closed as the highest praises were given to the Lord.

Sometimes, outside of camp, it can be hard to find these special moments when we come together to pray and worship our God. But here at Teen Take Over this week, our campers are living in these special moments continuously, singing and praying whenever the chance is offered. This week is so special. Hearts are being transformed, and Christ is becoming more and more present in every hymn, decade of the rosary, and in each new friendship.
