Feature Friday – Olivia

Another day to celebrate CYC! Every Friday we will feature a member of the CYC family! Campers staff alumni nurses & even whole families have been contacted to tell us why they love being a part of the CYC Family!

This week we are featuring OLIVIA! Olivia has been coming to camp for many years! When I think of campers who love camp I automatically think of Olivia!

Olivia is always happy to be at camp & we often hear from her mom that she talks about it all year long! Thanks Olivia for be so amazing!

A: I live in South St. Paul Minnesota I am a sophomore South St. Paul High School where I play Volleyball and help with School fundraisers and charities.

Q: Why do you come to CYC every year?

A: I go to CYC every year because I feel as though it is my second home. It is a place where every year I go I grow as a person and make new friends every time I go back.

Q: What is your favorite CYC memory?

A: One of my favorite CYC memories is when there was a power outage because it made us all come together work together as a team and we really became more like family.

Q: Where is your favorite place at CYC?

A: My favorite place at CYC is actually the cabins because that is where we have our bible time. It also brings the cabin mates closer and we become like a family.

Q: What does it mean to be part of the CYC family?

A: Being part of the CYC family means making lifelong friends where everyone learns new things and grows with each other and together like a family.
