Settler 

Completed 1st - 3rd grades 

  • Develop independence and self confidence as they experience CYC for the first time!
  • Daily activities include: art, archery, slingshot, canoe and kayak, fishing, swimming, dance, drama, creative writing, sports, music and much more!
  • All camp activities include group games, campfires, a weekly dance, talent show and theme activities each week
  • Daily prayer, weekly mass and a focus on faith
  • Sign up with a friend or make new friends when you arrive!

 


Trailblazer

Completed 4th-6th grades

  • Expand knowledge of core activities (art, archery, slingshot, canoe and kayak, fishing, swimming, dance, drama, creative writing, sports, music) as programming progresses for each age group.
  • See camp friends from previous summers and develop new friendships!
  • Build upon skills gained as a Settler to expand creative thinking

 

Pathfinder

 Completed 7th -9th grades 

  • Continue the CYC adventure! 
  • Grow in faith through deeper reflection and more meaningful conversation.
  • Enjoy the same great CYC core activities with more intensity and higher challenge.
  • Advance in problem solving skills, confidence and leadership abilities while being a role model for younger campers.
  • Pathfinders go on an overnight camping trip offsite where they hike, cook over a fire, sleep in a tent and spend time doing outdoor activities (please see packing list for appropriate clothing

 

Leaders-In-Training

Completed 10th-12th grades

  • 2 week program (with a break to go home over the weekend)
  • Week 1- teambuilding, communication, leadership activities, combined with a service project, all camp activities and personal reflection
  • Week 2- assist counselors in leading activities, all camp activities, teambuilding
  • Ideal for: teens interested in service, leadership or a future with camp.

 

Counselors-In-Training

Completed 11th-12th grades

2 week program (with a break to go home over the weekend)

  • Week 1 - service project, teambuilding and leadership activities, goal setting and professionalism
  • Week 2- live in cabins, assist staff in camper supervision, lead activities
  • CITs continue the work of LITs, but prior LIT experience is not required
  • Ideal for: teens interested in service, leadership or a future with camp.

 

Teen Service Week

Completed 9th-12th grades

  • Teens will spend the week working on service projects around camp and in the local town.
  • Teens will take part in all-camp activities and prayer, enjoying the CYC traditions they love, while having a chance to focus on service.
  • Ideal for teens who love CYC but are looking for a new adventure!

 

Final Faith Jam

Completed 9th-12th grades

  • Retreat-style program for teens interested in talking about, exploring and growing in their faith. 
  • Teens will do a variety of activities with the theme of faith, while also participating in all-camp activities. 
  • Ideal for teens who love CYC but are looking for a new adventure!
