2nd Annual M&M Spring Work Weekend

In 2007 over 100 people descended upon CYC for the first ever Work Weekend. Roofs were replaced, buildings were cleaned and painted. The entire camp had brush cleared and leaves raked. Power tools, bobcats and an energy level that was sky high made for a successful weekend.

In addition to the work we incorporated a retreat component. Talks were given by Rich Chapman from our board and our Executive Director Rich Junghans. Early morning rosary along with a cup of coffee for the early risers.

Through this combination of work and prayer a fellowship was created. Many new friendships were created in addition to all of the work that was accomplished. CYC provides meals and lodging for the weekend. Below you will find a list of what to bring and our wish list for supplies. We also ask that you RSVP for the weekend so we can plan meals and sleeping accommodations for the weekend. Also, if you have skills with plumbing or electrical please let us know.

This weekend is open to adults and kids over the age of 12. There will be a separate campfire nightly with beer provided for the adult campfire.
