Directions

CYC is located approximately 2.5 hours north of Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota and approximately one hour west of Duluth, Minnesota. We are situated on the point of a beautiful peninsula jutting into Big Sandy Lake, about 12 miles north of McGregor, Minnesota.

Minneapolis/St. Paul

Estimated travel time - 2 1/2 hours

  • 1. MN 65-north through Cambridge & Mora to MN 210, just east of McGregor (approx. 110 miles north of Minneapolis).
  • 2. TURN LEFT at stop sign onto MN 210. MN 65 links with MN 210 at this point. Continue approx. 1 mile.
  • 3. TURN RIGHT at stop sign on MN 65 and continue approx. 7 miles to County Road 14 (Sathers Amoco/Hardware/Grocery will be on your near right at this intersection).
  • 4. TURN RIGHT on County Road 14 and continue approx. 5 miles to 520th Lane.
  • 5. TURN LEFT on 520th Lane (you should begin to see CYC signs at this point).
  • 6. Follow the signs on this road to camp (approx. 1 mile). Please respect our camp neighbors and follow the 25 mph speed limit on the road leading to the camp!

St. Cloud, Minnesota

Estimated travel time - 2 1/4 hours

  • 1. MN 23-east through Foley and Milaca to US 169-north (approx. 25 miles).
  • 2. Bear LEFT on US 169-north. Follow 13 miles past Aitkin to Cty Rd 3 (watch for a sign to Palisade).
  • 3. TURN RIGHT on Cty Rd 3 (it will become MN 232) and follow to MN 65 (approx. 14 miles).
  • 4. CONTINUE STRAIGHT across MN 65 on County Road 14 and continue approx. 5 miles to 520th Lane.
  • 5. TURN LEFT onto 520th Lane (you should begin to see CYC signs at this point).
  • 6. Follow the signs on this road to camp (approx. 1 mile). Please respect our camp neighbors and follow the 25 mph speed limit on the road leading to the camp!

Duluth, MN

Estimated travel time - 1 1/4 hours

  • 1. I-35-south to Minnesota Highway 210-west (approx. 15 miles).
  • 2. TURN RIGHT at end of ramp onto MN 210-west and continue to the stop sign in McGregor (approx. 42 miles).
  • 3. TURN RIGHT on MN 65 and continue approx. 7 miles to County Road 14 (Sathers Amoco/Hardware/Grocery will be on your near right at this intersection).
  • 4. TURN RIGHT on County Road 14 and continue approx. 5 miles to 520th Lane.
  • 5. TURN LEFT on 520th Lane (you should begin to see CYC signs at this point).
  • 6. Follow the signs on this road to camp (approximately 1 mile). Please respect our camp neighbors and follow the 25 mph speed limit on the road leading to the camp!

Grand Rapids, MN

Estimated travel time - 1 hour

  • 1. Estimated travel time - 1 hour
  • 2. Take US Highway 2-east to MN 65-south (approx. 19 miles).
  • 3. TURN RIGHT on MN 65 and continue approx. 28 miles to County Road 14 (Sathers Amoco/Hardware/Grocery will be on your far left at this intersection).
  • 4. TURN LEFT on County Road 14 and continue approx. 5 miles to 520th Lane.
  • 5. TURN LEFT on 520th Lane (you should begin to see CYC signs at this point).
  • 6. Follow the signs on this road to camp (approximately 1 mile). Please respect our camp neighbors and follow the 25 mph speed limit on the road leading to the camp!
