2008 Schedule

2008 Sessions include Settlers, Trailblazers & Pathfinders unless otherwise noted. Placement is based on your child's grade completed in June 2008.

• Pathfinders (7th, 8th ,9th )

Each week of camp, CYC will have a different theme, which just adds to the fun and excitement of the weekly camp activities. Feel free to bring your pirate hat or pictures from your vacation to another country. Parents, please send a set of clothes that can get dirty/sticky/messy/etc.

June 16-21 - “Walk of Fame”

Have you ever dreamed of being famous? Here’s your chance! Land a starring role in your cabin’s production of “CYC’s Famous Campers”. Walk the red carpet on your way to the all-camp talent show. And don’t forget to go to the art barn and paint your self portrait!

June 23-28 - “Ooey Gooey”

Get ready for the all-camp jello fight (giant tubs of jello ready to be thrown at your friends and counselors!), making glurch with your cabin, and many other sticky, messy projects that will get your hands dirty and would make your mom cringe!

July 7-12 - “Splish Splash”

Water games galore! If you like to feel the splash of water on a hot day, this week is for you! Get drenched at CYC!

July 14-19 - “Wonders of Science”

Do you like to do science experiments? Are you curious about how things work? Do you like to invent new creations? This is the week to be at CYC!

July 21-26 - “CSI at CYC”

When a crime is committed at CYC, we call in the dedicated camper detectives to solve the mystery. Look for evidence and clues, interview suspects and figure out what it all means!

July 28-Aug 2 - “Around the World”

Learn about other cultures, other countries, traditions and languages from around the world. Multi-cultural songs, games, crafts, languages and more!

August 4-9 - “Outta This World”

Stargazing, inventing your own planet, building rocket ships, learning about constellations, and many other activities will make you wonder if you are at CYC or outer space!

August 11-16 - “CYC Olympics”

Design your cabin flag, tie your shoes and get out to the field for the CYC Olympics. Spend your week competing in a variety of activities, earning points towards gold medals and making memories at CYC!

August 18-23 - “Pirates of Big Sandy”

Camper or pirate? It’s hard to tell the difference! Spend the week designing your own pirate ship at the art barn, searching for buried treasure, and other adventures!
